The Medford Youth Baseball Society, in partnership with the Oregon Community Foundation Walker Fund and the Howard Memorial Sports Park Foundation, is forming competitive youth baseball and softball teams for athletically gifted children with financial barriers that prevent them from competing at the highest available level.

 

Our FREE program is open to children living in the Medford area, with a special preference for minority kids. We also give priority to those in the Jackson, Washington, and Oak Grove elementary service areas, as well as those currently attending Kids Unlimited. We are creating an inclusive and supportive program where kids can thrive and take pride representing their community.

 

We're currently putting together 10-and-under baseball and softball teams for tournament competition in 2024. Practices and games will be held at two top-notch sports facilities: historic Fagone Field in Jackson Park, and at Lithia & Driveway Fields.

To join us, fill out the interest form to have your age-eligible child(ren) receive a tryout at Fagone Field in the coming weeks. Boys and girls born between March 1, 2014 and December 31, 2016 are currently eligible to participate. Want to help coach? Fill out the same form, and we'll contact you.

Thanks to grant funding, we will provide high-quality competition, positive and organized coaching, snazzy uniforms, and essential team equipment – at no cost!
